Facilities upgrade at Dromaan Harbour
New canoe facilities and services blocks have been provided at Dromaan Harbour in Whitegate as part of a regional initiative aimed at promoting water-based activities on Ireland’s third largest lake.
The Lough Derg Canoe Trail, an initiative of the Lough Derg Marketing Group and funded under the Lough Derg Stimulus Fund, aims to provides for new facilities at Killaloe, Ballycuggeran, and Scariff, Mountshannon and Dromaan harbours.
The design and development of the trail project is being led by Waterways Ireland in partnership with Clare County Council, Galway County Council and Tipperary County Council.

Modernisierung der Einrichtungen im Hafen von Dromaan
Im Rahmen einer regionalen Initiative zur Förderung von Wassersportaktivitäten auf dem drittgrößten See Irlands wurden im Hafen von Dromaan in Whitegate neue Kanu-Einrichtungen und Sanitäranlagen geschaffen.
Der Lough Derg Canoe Trail, eine Initiative der Lough Derg Marketing Group, die aus dem Lough Derg Stimulus Fund finanziert wird, zielt darauf ab, neue Einrichtungen in den Häfen von Killaloe, Ballycuggeran, Scariff, Mountshannon und Dromaan zu schaffen.
Die Planung und Entwicklung des Trail-Projekts wird von Waterways Ireland in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Clare County Council, dem Galway County Council und dem Tipperary County Council geleitet.
