Bridge and Lock – Reopened to navigation

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and water users that Tarmonbarry Bridge and Lock have been reopened to navigation. Essential maintenance works are continuing at Tarmonbarry Bridge and some minor delays may be experienced.

Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused and wishes to thank its customers for their cooperation.

Brücke und Lock – Wieder für die Navigation geöffnet
Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserbenutzer darüber informieren, dass die Brücke und die Schleuse von Tarmonbarry wieder für die Schifffahrt freigegeben wurden.
An der Tarmonbarry-Brücke werden weiterhin wichtige Wartungsarbeiten durchgeführt, so dass es zu kleineren Verzögerungen kommen kann.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehmlich-keiten und dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation.

Royal Canal

Mullingar Harbour

Canoe Polo Event – 14/15 May and 4/5 June 2022

Waterways Ireland would like to advise masters and owners of vessels that a canoe polo event will be taking place in Mullingar Harbour on 14th/15th May and 4th/5th June of 2022 between 1000 and 16.00 each day.

Masters of craft are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash and note any directions issued by the stewards. The harbour should be kept clear of moored vessels during this time.

Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Kanu-Polo-Veranstaltung – 14/15 Mai und 4/5 Juni 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Bootsbesitzer darauf hinweisen, dass im Hafen von Mullingar am 14. und 15. Mai sowie am 4. und 5. Juni 2022 jeweils zwischen 1000 und 16.00 Uhr ein Kanupolo-Event stattfindet.
Die Schiffsführer werden gebeten, mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit und möglichst wenig Wellengang zu fahren und die Anweisungen der Stewards zu beachten. Der Hafen sollte während dieser Zeit von festgemachten Schiffen freigehalten werden.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Temporary Navigation Closure

Lock 3, Main line, Grand Canal, Dublin – Until 20th May 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Lock 3, Main Line, Grand Canal is temporarily closed for essential maintenance and repairs until 20th May 2022. Passage through the lock is not possible.

Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their understanding in this matter.

Grand Canal; Vorübergehende Schließung der Navigation
Schleuse 3, Hauptstrecke, Grand Canal, Dublin – bis 20. Mai 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Bootsbesitzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Schleuse 3, Main Line, Grand Canal, wegen notwendiger Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeiten bis zum 20. Mai 2022 vorübergehend geschlossen ist. Eine Durchfahrt durch die Schleuse ist nicht möglich.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihr Verständnis in dieser Angelegenheit.

Tarmonbarry

Bridge and Lock Closure – Emergency Works
Tuesday 10th May until Friday 13th May 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and water users that Tarmonbarry Bridge and Lock will be closed from:
Tuesday 10th May until Friday 13th May, to facilitate emergency repair works.
An alternative route via the Camlin River is available. Masters of vessels and water users are advised to check their airdraft prior to undertaking the passage on the Camlin River due to the low bridge on the N5 road.
Waterways Ireland apologies for any inconvenience caused and wishes to thank its customers for their cooperation.

Tarmonbarry, Schließung von Brücke und Schleuse – Notfallarbeiten
Dienstag, 10. Mai, bis Freitag, 13. Mai 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Schiffskapitäne und Wassernutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Tarmonbarry-Brücke und -Schleuse von Dienstag, den 10. Mai, bis Freitag, den 13. Mai, wegen dringender Reparaturarbeiten gesperrt werden.
Eine alternative Route über den Camlin River ist verfügbar. Schiffsführern und Wassersportlern wird empfohlen, vor der Durchfahrt auf dem Camlin River ihre airdraft zu überprüfen, da die Brücke über die Straße N5 niedrig ist.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehmlich-keiten und bedankt sich bei seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation.

Die Schiffsführer werden gebeten, mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit und möglichst wenig Wasser zu fahren und alle Anweisungen der Stewards zu beachten. Der Hafen sollte während dieser Zeit von festgemachten Schiffen freigehalten werden.
