Brian Boru Triathlon – Swimevent

Two Mile Gate – 7th June 2025

Waterways Ireland wishes to inform users that the Brian Boru Triathlon swim element takes place on Lough Derg waters, in the vicinity of Two Mile Gate / Rinnaman Point on Saturday, 7th June 2025.
Navigation & Safety Advisory:

- Swimmers and support craft will be active on the water from 08:00 to 10:00.
- Masters of vessels are asked to comply with instructions from event marshals and safety boats, and to keep the racecourse clear.
- If navigating near the event or race officials, vessel wash must be kept to a minimum in the interest of safety.
- Road users on the R463, Killaloe – Scarriff road, are advised to be aware of additional cyclists and runners.

Waterways Ireland thanks all waterway users for their cooperation and assistance in ensuring the safe and successful running of this event.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Nutzer darüber informieren, dass der Schwimmwettbewerb des Brian Boru Triathlons am Samstag, dem 7. Juni 2025, auf dem Lough Derg in der Nähe von Two Mile Gate/Rinnaman Point stattfindet.
Hinweis zur Schifffahrt und Sicherheit:

- Schwimmer und Begleitboote werden von 08:00 bis 10:00 Uhr auf dem Wasser unterwegs sein.
- Die Kapitäne der Schiffe werden gebeten, den Anweisungen der Veranstaltungsleiter und Sicherheitsboote Folge zu leisten und die Rennstrecke frei zu halten.
- Wenn Sie in der Nähe der Veranstaltungs- oder Rennleitung navigieren, muss die Schiffswelle aus Sicherheitsgründen auf ein Minimum beschränkt werden.#
- Verkehrsteilnehmer auf der R463, Killaloe – Scarriff Road, werden gebeten, auf zusätzliche Radfahrer und Läufer zu achten.

Erne Boat Rally 2025 30th May – 2nd June 2025

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels and waterway users that the Erne Boat Rally 2025 takes place on Lough Erne from Friday 30th May to Monday 2nd June.
To facilitate this event, the following jetties will be temporarily closed to the general public:

- - Saturday 31st May – Outer section of Enniskillen’s Round ‘O’ Jetty
  - Sunday 1st June – Rossigh Jetty, Lower Lough Erne

Masters of vessels are requested to comply with event marshals, navigate with caution near rally activities, minimise vessel wash, and observe all speed restrictions.

Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks all users for their understanding and cooperation.

Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserstraßenbenutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Erne Boat Rally 2025 von Freitag, 30. Mai, bis Montag, 2. Juni, auf dem Lough Erne stattfindet.
Um diese Veranstaltung zu ermöglichen, werden die folgenden Anlegestellen vorübergehend für die Allgemeinheit geschlossen:

- - Samstag, 31. Mai – Äußerer Teil von Enniskillens Round ‚O‘ Jetty
  - Sonntag, 1. Juni – Rossigh Jetty, Lower Lough Erne

Die Kapitäne der Schiffe werden gebeten, die Anweisungen der Streckenposten zu befolgen, in der Nähe der Rallye-Aktivitäten vorsichtig zu navigieren, den Wellengang der Schiffe zu minimieren und alle Geschwindigkeitsbeschränkungen zu beachten.
Waterways Ireland bedauert jegliche Unannehmlichkeiten, die dadurch entstehen können, und dankt allen Nutzern für ihr Verständnis und ihre Kooperation.

Waterways Ireland wishes to inform users of that the Barrow Dragon Boat Regatta will take place on the Carlow town section of the River Barrow on Sunday, 8th June 2025.
Navigation & Safety Advisory:

- - Dragon Boats and support craft will be active on the water from 09:00 to 18:00. During this time event craft will have right of way.
  - Masters of vessels are asked to comply with instructions from event marshals and safety boats, and to keep the racecourse clear.
  - When navigating near Dragon Boats or race officials, vessel wash must be kept to a minimum in the interest of safety.

Waterways Ireland möchte seine Benutzer darüber informieren, dass am Sonntag, den 8. Juni 2025, die Barrow Drachenbootregatta auf dem Fluss Barrow in Carlow Town stattfinden wird.
Hinweis zur Navigation und Sicherheit:

- - Drachenboote und Begleitfahrzeuge werden von 09:00 bis 18:00 Uhr auf dem Wasser aktiv sein. Während dieser Zeit haben die Veranstaltungsboote Vorfahrt.
  - Die Bootsführer werden gebeten, den Anweisungen der Streckenposten und Sicherheitsboote Folge zu leisten und die Rennstrecke freizuhalten.
  - Wenn Sie in der Nähe von Drachenbooten oder Rennleitern fahren, müssen
    im Interesse der Sicherheit auf ein Minimum zu beschränken.

Clarendon Lock – River Boyle – Reopened

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels on Lock Key, River Boyle and the Shannon navigation that Clarendon Lock has been reopened.
Further works will be required to fully repair the lock – updates to be provided as necessary.

- - Rowing crews and support craft will be active on the water, in the vicinity of The Quays Carlow, from 09:00 to 17:00. During this time, rowing vessels will have right of way.
  - Masters of vessels are asked to comply with instructions from race marshals and safety boats, and to keep the racecourse clear.
  - When navigating near rowing crews or race officials, vessel wash must be kept to a minimum in the interest of safety.

Hinweis zur Navigation und Sicherheit:

- - Rudermannschaften und Hilfsboote werden von 09:00 bis 17:00 Uhr in der Nähe von The Quays Carlow auf dem Wasser aktiv sein. Während dieser Zeit haben die Ruderboote Vorfahrt.
  - Die Bootsführer werden gebeten, den Anweisungen der Streckenposten und der Sicherheitsboote Folge zu leisten und die Regattastrecke freizuhalten.
  - Wenn Sie in der Nähe von Ruderern oder Rennleitern fahren, müssen Sie im Interesse der Sicherheit die Abwaschung der Schiffe auf ein Minimum beschränken.
