World Championship

Predator Boat Fishing Competition 3rd – 5th October 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels and waterway users that the World Championship Predator Boat Fishing Competition will take place from 3rd – 5th October 2024.
The event will take place on Upper Lough Erne and the Inter Lough Channel. Masters of vessels are advised that there will be additional boats in the water in these areas and to proceed with caution.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation.

Erne System, Weltmeisterschaftswettbewerb im Raubfischangeln, 3. bis 5. Oktober 2024
Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserstraßenbenutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Weltmeisterschaft im Raubfischangeln vom 3. bis 5. Oktober 2024 stattfinden wird.
Die Veranstaltung findet auf dem Upper Lough Erne und dem Inter Lough Channel statt. Die Kapitäne der Schiffe werden darauf hingewiesen, dass in diesen Gebieten zusätzliche Boote im Wasser sein werden und dass sie mit Vorsicht vorgehen sollten.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Mitarbeit.

Portora Lock Closure

8th October 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels that Portora Lock in Enniskillen will be closed to boat traffic on Tuesday 8th October 2024 from 0800 to 1700hrs. This closure is to accommodate essential maintenance work on the lock gates.
Masters of Vessels ae requested to adhere to all instructions given by safety personnel in the area.
Waterways Ireland wishes to apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thanks its customers for their co-operation.

Waterways Ireland weist die Schiffsführer darauf hin, dass das Portora Lock in Enniskillen am Dienstag, den 8. Oktober 2024 von 0800 bis 1700 Uhr für den Schiffsverkehr geschlossen wird. Diese Schließung dient der Durchführung wichtiger Wartungsarbeiten an den Schleusentoren.
Die Kapitäne der Schiffe werden gebeten, allen Anweisungen des Sicherheitspersonals in diesem Bereich Folge zu leisten.
Waterways Ireland bittet Sie um Entschuldigung für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Benutzern für ihre Kooperation.

Reopening Friday 18th October 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and users that Spencer Harbour Public Jetty and amenity area, and the lake areas immediately upstream and downstream to the jetty at Spencer Harbour, Co. Leitrim will reopen from Friday 18th October 2024.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Schiffskapitäne und Benutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die öffentliche Anlegestelle Spencer Harbour und der Freizeitbereich sowie die Seegebiete unmittelbar stromaufwärts und stromabwärts der Anlegestelle in Spencer Harbour, Co. Leitrim, ab Freitag, den 18. Oktober 2024 wieder geöffnet sein werden.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Benutzern für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Notice of Relocation of Vessels for Greenway Development Works

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise users that development works in relation to the Grand Canal Greenway will be commencing at Hazelhatch in October 2024. The works will be taking place east of Hazelhatch Bridge on the North Bank.
All vessels currently moored on this canal bank will be required to relocate for the duration of these works. Waterways Ireland requests owners remove their vessels prior to October 20th 2024.
Any vessels which have not been relocated by the above date may be removed from the area by Waterways Ireland.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks you for your cooperation.

Bekanntmachung über die Verlegung von Schiffen für die Greenway-Entwicklungsarbeiten
Waterways Ireland möchte die Nutzer darauf hinweisen, dass im Oktober 2024 in Hazelhatch Erschließungsarbeiten im Zusammenhang mit dem Grand Canal Greenway beginnen werden. Die Arbeiten finden östlich der Hazelhatch-Brücke am Nordufer statt.
Alle Schiffe, die derzeit an diesem Kanalufer vertäut sind, müssen für die Dauer der Arbeiten ihren Standort wechseln. Waterways Ireland bittet die Eigentümer, ihre Schiffe vor dem 20. Oktober 2024 zu entfernen.
Alle Schiffe, die bis zu diesem Datum nicht umgesiedelt wurden, können von Waterways Ireland aus dem Gebiet entfernt werden.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dadurch entstehen können, und dankt Ihnen für Ihre Mitarbeit.

Low water levels from 30th September for 2 weeks

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Master of Vessels on the Royal Canal that there will be low water levels on the 39th Level due to emergency leakage repair works in Ballymaclavy Bog commencing on Monday 30th September for approximately 2 weeks.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience caused for navigation users in this area.

Drapers Lock, 39th Lock and Bridge

Der Royal Canal, 39. Level, Niedrige Wasserstände ab 30. September für 2 Wochen
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer auf dem Royal Canal darauf hinweisen, dass es ab Montag, den 30. September für ca. 2 Wochen zu niedrigen Wasserständen auf dem 39th Level kommen wird, da im Ballymaclavy Bog Reparaturarbeiten an einem Leck durchgeführt werden.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die den Schifffahrtsbenutzern in diesem Gebiet entstehen.
