Lough Ree

Triathlon Swim Training Course

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters that a Triathlon Swim Training Course is presently laid out at Coosan Point, Athlone for the summer period.
The 750m course is set out just south of the Waterways Ireland moorings and is marked by three large orange buoys.
The course will be active daily during the following times:

- - 0800 to 1000hrs
  - 1230 to 1400 hrs
  - 1700 to 2030 hrs

Swimmers are requested to make themselves as visible as possible to boaters, when in the water.
Masters are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when passing the course and to note any advice given by safety boat marshals accompanying swimmers.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Lough Ree – Triathlon Schwimmkurs

Waterways Ireland möchte den Meistern mitteilen, dass derzeit ein Triathlon-Schwimmtraining am Coosan Point, Athlone, für die Sommersaison geplant ist.
Der 750 m lange Kurs liegt südlich der Waterways Ireland Anlegestelle und ist durch drei große orangefarbene Bojen gekennzeichnet.
Der Kurs wird während der folgenden Zeiten täglich aktiv sein:

- - 0800 bis 1000 Uhr
  - 1230 bis 1400 Uhr
  - 1700 bis 2030 Uhr

Schwimmer werden gebeten, sich im Wasser so sichtbar wie möglich zu machen.
Die Kapitäne werden gebeten, beim Passieren des Kurses mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit und minimalem Waschgang vorzugehen und die Ratschläge der Sicherheitsmarschalls, die die Schwimmer begleiten, zu beachten.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für die Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Richmond Harbour 1-3 June 2018

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the Richmond Harbour Heritage Festival will take place in and around Richmond Harbour from 1st to 3rd June 2018.
Masters are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when manoeuvring in the harbour and heed any instructions issued by the event marshals as there will be canoes operating in the harbour.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation in this matter.

Richmond Hafen 1-3 Juni 2018

Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Eigner von Schiffen darauf hinweisen, dass das Richmond Harbour Heritage Festival vom 1. bis 3. Juni 2018 in und um Richmond Harbour stattfinden wird.
Die Kapitäne werden gebeten, beim Manövrieren im Hafen mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit und minimalem Waschgang vorzugehen und die Anweisungen der Eventmarschalls zu befolgen, da im Hafen Kanus eingesetzt werden.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für die Zusammenarbeit in dieser Angelegenheit.

Barrow Navigation

Trackway Closure for essential maintenance

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify its customers that a section of approx. 3km of the trackway on the Barrow Navigation between Clogrennan and Ballinabranagh is closed to all traffic for essential maintenance works from today for approx. 8 weeks until mid-July 2018.

Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience the above causes its customers, and will issue a further marine notice when maintenance is completed.

Fahrwegschließung für wesentliche Wartungsarbeiten

Waterways Ireland möchte seine Kunden darüber informieren, dass ein ca. 3 km langer Streckenabschnitt auf der Barrow Navigation zwischen Clogrennan und Ballinabranagh ab heute für alle wesentlichen Wartungsarbeiten für ca. 8 Wochen bis Mitte Juli 2018 gesperrt ist.

Waterways Ireland bedauert alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die die oben genannten Ursachen für seine Kunden haben, und wird nach Abschluss der Wartungsarbeiten einen weiteren Schifffahrtshinweis herausgeben.

Lower Lough Erne – Gublusk Bay

Seawings Event

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the above event is scheduled to take place on Saturday 2nd June 2018.
As part of the event a seaplane aircraft will alight and take-off in the vicinity of Gublusk Bay, near Lough Erne Yacht Club (LEYC). PSNI will control entry between 0500hrs and 1700hrs to the waterway areas designated for aircraft use during the event.
Masters are requested to follow the directions given by the event organisers, PSNI, and marshals and to be aware of aircraft on approach or take-off from the area. Normal navigation rules apply to aircraft when manoeuvring on the water.

Seawings Veranstaltung
Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Eigentümer darauf hinweisen, dass die oben genannte Veranstaltung am Samstag, den 2. Juni 2018 stattfinden soll.
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung wird ein Wasserflugzeug in der Nähe der Bucht von Gublusk in der Nähe des Lough Erne Yacht Club (LEYC) landen und starten. PSNI wird den Zutritt zu den Wasserstraßen, die während der Veranstaltung für die Nutzung durch Flugzeuge vorgesehen sind, zwischen 5.00 und 17.00 Uhr kontrollieren.
Die Kapitäne werden gebeten, den Anweisungen der Veranstalter, der PSNI und der Marshalls zu folgen und sich über die Flugzeuge beim An- und Abflug zu informieren. Für Flugzeuge gelten beim Manövrieren auf dem Wasser normale Navigationsregeln.

GRAND CANAL

Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Low Water Levels – Navigations Restrictions

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify owners and masters of vessels that Waterways Ireland are currently experiencing issues with low water levels in Grand Canal Dock.
As a result no passage will be possible through the Sea Lock until further notice. There will also be restrictions to movements on the Grand Canal Circular Line.
Masters of vessels moored in Grand Canal Dock are advised to tend their mooring lines to accommodate the reduction in water levels.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience the above causes its customers, and will issue a further marine notice when updated information is available.
