Cycle Path Construction
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that the towpath of Royal Canal from Moyvalley to Ballasport and Longford Bridge to Abbeyshrule will be closed with immediate effect to facilitate the construction of cyclepaths. A further Marine Notice will issue on completion.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause its customers.

Grand Canal Dock Dragon Boat Regatta
10-11 September 2016
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that there will be a regatta of DRAGON BOATS in Grand Canal Dock on 10-11 September 2016 between 08:30hrs and 18:30hrs.
Masters and owners of vessels operating in the area should refrain from entering the race course and comply with guidance instructions from race officials.
Waterways Ireland thanks their customers for their co-operation in these matters.

It is anticipated that repair works should be completed within a few days.
