GRAIGUENAMANAGH

TRIATHLON

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the swim element of the KTC Sprint Triathlon will take place in Graiguenamangh on Sat 6th Sep 2014 from the vicinity of the Boat Club from 1000hrs  to 1500hrs.
Masters of vessels are requested to note the advice of marshals when passing through the area and to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash.

Waterways Ireland Killaloe Water Festival

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the Killaloe Water Festival will take place both upstream and downstream of the Killaloe – Ballina town bridge and also in the vicinity of the Killaloe Canal from 1900hrs on Fri 5th. to 1800hrs on Sun 7th . Sep 2014.

Masters of vessels are requested to note the advice of marshals when passing through the area and to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash.

Triathlon – Swimming Event

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters that the swimming element of the Lough Key Triathlon event will take place in the vicinity of Castle Island and the Forest Park recreational facilities in Lough Key on Sun 7th Sep from 0900 hrs until 1200 hrs.
Masters of vessels are requested to note the advice of marshals when passing near the swimming course and to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash.

Offaly Rowing Club Regatta

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters and users of the Grand Canal that the Offaly Rowing Club Regatta will take place at the club facilities at Lock 23 and not Tullamore town as previously intended, on Saturday 6th September 2014 between 0900hrs and 1900hrs.
Navigation restrictions will be in place, however, through traffic will be facilitated at various times throughout the day.

Clondara and Richmond Harbour

Clondara Snorkel Rally

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the Clondara Snorkel Rally will take place on Sat 16th. Aug 2014 between 1400hrs and 1500hrs from Clondara Bridge to Richmond Harbour.
Navigation will be restricted during this time while there are snorkelers in the water. Masters are requested to note safety advice from event marshals and to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when approaching the area.
