Tarmonbarry Lifting Bridge and Rooskey Lifting Bridge

Waterways Ireland wishes to notify masters of vessels and users that Rooskey Bridge will reopen tomorrow Saturday 10th February. Tarmonbarry Bridge will remain closed until Friday 16th February to facilitate maintenance works. Diversion route available via the Camlin River.

Schließung wegen Wartungsarbeiten
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und andere Nutzer darüber informieren, dass die Rooskey Bridge am morgigen Samstag, den 10. Februar, wieder geöffnet wird. Die Tarmonbarry-Brücke bleibt bis Freitag, den 16. Februar, wegen Wartungsarbeiten geschlossen. Eine Umleitungsstrecke über den Camlin River ist verfügbar.
Waterways Ireland bedauert alle Unannehmlichkeiten, die dadurch entstehen können, und dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Tarmonbarry Lifting Bridge and Rooskey Lifting Bridge

Closure – Thursday 8th and Friday 9th February 2024.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and users that both Tarmonbarry and Rooskey Lifting Bridges will be closed on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th February to facilitate structural inspections.

Installation of new lock gates From 06 February 2024 for 5 weeks

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and users that on the Lower Bann navigation that due to installation of new lock gates at Movanagher lock, the lock will be closed for a period of approximately 5 weeks from 06 February 2024.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Schiffsführer und Benutzer der Lower Bann Navigation darauf hinweisen, dass die Schleuse Movanagher ab dem 06. Februar 2024 für einen Zeitraum von ca. 5 Wochen wegen der Installation neuer Schleusentore geschlossen sein wird.

From 29th Jan 2024 for 4 weeks maintenance works on the waiting jetty

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and owners of vessels it will be carrying out maintenance works on the waiting jetty on the upstream side of the 35th Lock in Shannon Harbour. Works will begin on Monday 29th January 2024 and will last 4 weeks, hours of work 9am to 5pm. Jetty will be closed during this time.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Ab 29. Januar 2024 für 4 Wochen Wartungsarbeiten am Wartejetty 
Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Schiffseigner darauf hinweisen, dass Wartungsarbeiten am Wartejetty auf der stromaufwärts gelegenen Seite der 35. Schleuse im Hafen von Shannon durchgeführt werden. Die Arbeiten beginnen am Montag, den 29. Januar 2024, und werden 4 Wochen dauern, Arbeitszeiten von 9 bis 17 Uhr. Die Anlegestelle wird während dieser Zeit geschlossen sein.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Grand Canal – Barrow Line

25th Level – Reopening to navigation on 28th March 2024

Ongoing works within Bell Harbour

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters and owners of vessels that the Barrow Line from McCartneys, Lock 24 to Moores,
Lock 25 will re open to navigation on 28th March 2024 following essential quay wall refurbishment at Bell Harbour.
Localised quay wall restrictions will remain within Bell Harbour to facilitate on-going paving and landscaping works and vessels navigating within the harbour are asked to proceed with caution.

Wiedereröffnung für die Schifffahrt am 28. März 2024, Laufende Arbeiten im Bell Harbour
Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Schiffseigner darauf hinweisen, dass die Barrow Line von McCartneys, Lock 24 bis Moores, Lock 25 am 28. März 2024 wieder für die Schifffahrt geöffnet wird, nachdem die Kaimauer in Bell Harbour saniert wurde. Um die laufenden Pflaster- und Landschaftsbauarbeiten zu erleichtern, wird es im Bell Harbour weiterhin örtliche Beschränkungen für die Kaimauer geben, und Schiffe, die den Hafen befahren, werden gebeten, vorsichtig zu fahren.
