Waterways Ireland Killaloe Water Festival

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the Killaloe Water Festival will take place both upstream and downstream of the Killaloe – Ballina town bridge and also in the vicinity of the Killaloe Canal from 1900hrs on Fri 5th. to 1800hrs on Sun 7th . Sep 2014.

Masters of vessels are requested to note the advice of marshals when passing through the area and to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that this event will take place from Thurs 31st July until Sun 3rd. Aug 2014 in Scarriff Harbour, Co. Clare
Masters are requested to proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash when approaching and departing the harbour.

Red Porthand Buoy Off Station

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the red porthand buoy marking the entrance to the marina at Garrykennedy has been reported as being out of position. It can presently be found in a position farther to the east.

Masters should approach the marina entrance with due caution.

Triathlon Event Sat 14 Jun 2014

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that the swim element of the above event will take place in the Killaloe Canal , from 1500hrs to 1800hrs on Sat 14th. Jun. The canal will be closed during this time.
