Grand Canal

Circular Line – Towpath Closure – June 6th

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise that the north bank towpath between Locks C3 and C4, will be closed for approximately two weeks beginning June 6th 2023. This closure is to facilitate maintenance works.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation and apologises for any inconvenience caused.

Grand Canal, Circular Line – Sperrung des Treidelpfades – 6. Juni
Waterways Ireland möchte darauf hinweisen, dass der nördliche Uferweg zwischen den Schleusen C3 und C4 ab dem 6. Juni 2023 für etwa zwei Wochen gesperrt wird. Diese Sperrung dient der Durchführung von Wartungsarbeiten.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Mitarbeit und entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten.

Erne System

The Erne Boat Rally – June 3rd to 5th 2023

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterways users that the Erne Boat Rally is taking place from Saturday 3rd June to Monday 5th June 2023. In order to facilitate the event, the following jetties will be closed:

      • Round ‘O’ Jetty, outside moorings on the upstream side of the access walkway – Saturday 3rd June 2023 – 12:00 to 17:00hrs
      • Rossigh Jetty – Sunday 4th June 2023 – 14:00hrs to 17:00hrs

In addition to the above jetty closures, Waterways Ireland ask all mariners to be aware of additional boating traffic on the Erne System for the duration of the rally.

Erne System, Die Erne Boat Rally – 3. bis 5. Juni 2023
Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffsführer und Waterwaysusers darauf hinweisen, dass die Erne Boat Rally von Samstag, den 3. Juni, bis Montag, den 5. Juni 2023, stattfinden wird. Um die Veranstaltung zu ermöglichen, werden die folgenden Anlegestellen geschlossen sein:

      • Round ‚O‘ Jetty, außerhalb der Liegeplätze auf der stromaufwärts gelegenen Seite des Zugangsstegs – Samstag, 3. Juni 2023 – 12:00 bis 17:00 Uhr
      • Rossigh Jetty – Sonntag, 4. Juni 2023 – 14:00 Uhr bis 17:00 Uhr

Zusätzlich zu den oben genannten Schließungen der Anlegestellen bittet Waterways Ireland alle Bootsfahrer, sich für die Dauer der Rallye auf den zusätzlichen Bootsverkehr auf dem Erne System einzustellen.
