Battlebridge Lock

Closure 12th August 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and users that Battlebridge Lock, Battlebridge, Co. Leitrim will be closed on Monday 12th August 2024 from 09:00 to 17:00, due to a planned ESB power outage in the area.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Schiffsführer und Benutzer darauf hinweisen, dass die Battlebridge Lock, Battlebridge, Co. Leitrim, am Montag, den 12. August 2024, von 09:00 bis 17:00 Uhr wegen eines geplanten Stromausfalls der ESB in diesem Gebiet geschlossen wird.
Waterways Ireland bedauert die dadurch entstehenden Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Cutts Lock – Temporarily Closed

Waterways Ireland wishes to inform users of the Lower Bann navigation that the Cutts lock will be closed for emergency maintenance works for a period of approximately 4 days from today, 06 August 2024.
A further marine notice will be issued on completion of the works.
Waterways Ireland apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks its customers for their co-operation.

Lower Bann Navigation, Cutts Lock – Vorübergehend geschlossen
Waterways Ireland möchte die Nutzer der Lower Bann Navigation darüber informieren, dass das Cutts-„Lock“ ab heute, dem 06. August 2024, für einen Zeitraum von etwa 4 Tagen wegen dringender Wartungsarbeiten geschlossen wird.
Nach Abschluss der Arbeiten wird eine weitere Mitteilung über die Öffnung der Hafenanlagen herausgegeben.
Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die entstandenen Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Gästen für ihre Kooperation.

Roosky – Dry Dock Upgrade Works

Closure until 29/11/2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all masters of vessels and users that they will be unable to access the Roosky Dry Dock facility between the following dates: Friday 2nd August until Friday 29th November 2024.
This is as due to planned refurbishment works to the Dry Dock.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Shannon Navigation, Roosky – Arbeiten zur Modernisierung des Trockendocks, Schließung bis 29/11/2024
Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne von Schiffen und Nutzer darauf hinweisen, dass sie zwischen den folgenden Daten keinen Zugang zum Roosky Dry Dock haben werden: Freitag, 2. August, bis Freitag, 29. November 2024. Grund hierfür sind geplante Renovierungsarbeiten am Trockendock.
Waterways Ireland bedauert die damit verbundenen Unannehmlichkeiten und dankt seinen Benutzern für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Closure of Angling Stand at Henry Street – 31st July – 7th August 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to inform masters of vessels and waterway users that the disabled angling stand at Henry Street in Enniskillen will be closed from Wednesday 31st July to Wednesday 7th to facilitate essential maintenance/repair work.
Mariners should proceed at slow speed and with minimum wash within the vicinity of the works and adhere to any instructions or displayed signage.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience that this may cause and thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Schließung des Anglerstandes in der Henry Street – 31. Juli – 7. August 2024
Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserstraßenbenutzer darüber informieren, dass der behindertengerechte Angelstand in der Henry Street in Enniskillen von Mittwoch, dem 31. Juli, bis Mittwoch, dem 7. August, wegen notwendiger Wartungs-/Reparaturarbeiten geschlossen wird.
Die Schifffahrtsteilnehmer sollten in der Nähe der Arbeiten mit langsamer Geschwindigkeit und möglichst wenig Wasser fahren und sich an alle Anweisungen und Schilder halten.
Waterways Ireland bedauert jegliche Unannehmlichkeiten, die dadurch entstehen können, und dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.

Lower Bann Navigation

Booming Exercise – 01 August 2024

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterways users on the Lower Bann Navigation that the NIEA are planning to undertake a booming exercise on the Lower Bann on Thursday, 01 August 2024. The exercise will run from approximately 1030hrs to 1500hrs
Booms will be placed in the vicinity of Camus Wood North, approximately 500m upstream of the Loughan Island. Planned deployment will take the form of two lengths of inflatable river guardian booms, one from each bank, both extending to beyond the river mid-point with a gap between to allow for continued navigation of the river.

Lower Bann Navigation, Übung zum Absperren von Gewässern – 01. August 2024
Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserstraßennutzer auf der Lower Bann Navigation darauf hinweisen, dass die NIEA am Donnerstag, den 01. August 2024, eine Booming-Übung auf dem Lower Bann durchführen wird. Die Übung wird von etwa 1030 Uhr bis 1500 Uhr dauern.
Die Absperrungen werden in der Nähe von Camus Wood North, etwa 500 m stromaufwärts von Loughan Island, angebracht. Geplant ist der Einsatz von zwei aufblasbaren Flusssperren, eine an jedem Ufer, die beide bis über die Flussmitte hinausreichen, mit einer Lücke dazwischen, um die weitere Schifffahrt auf dem Fluss zu ermöglichen.
