Angling Competition at Ballyleague

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that an angling competition will take place on Sat 15th and Sun 16th September at Ballyleague.
The West bank quay in the harbour north of the bridge in Ballyleague will be closed from 8.30am to 5.30pm each day to facilitate the staging of the angling competition.
Moorings will be available at the Waterways Ireland marina south of the bridge in Ballyleague on both days.
Please note that in order to allow the anglers set up, the quayside north of the bridge will not be available to boats from 6pm on Friday 14th September.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation.

Angelwettbewerb bei Ballyleague
Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne und Bootsbesitzer darauf hinweisen, dass am 15. und 16. September bei Ballyleague ein Angelwettbewerb stattfinden wird.
Der Westuferkai im Hafen nördlich der Brücke in Ballyleague wird täglich von 8.30 bis 17.30 Uhr geschlossen, um die Durchführung des Angelwettbewerbs zu erleichtern.
Liegeplätze werden an beiden Tagen im Yachthafen von Waterways Ireland südlich der Brücke in Ballyleague zur Verfügung stehen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass der Kai nördlich der Brücke am Freitag, den 14. September, ab 18.00 Uhr nicht mehr für Boote zur Verfügung stehen wird, um die Aufstellung der Angler zu ermöglichen

Closure of Killaloe Canal for essential Maintenance Works.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that the 450m long section of the Killaloe Canal between Killaloe road bridge and the control gate structure upstream will be closed from 24th September to 5th November 2018 to allow lowering of the water level in the canal to facilitate essential maintenance works to the adjacent canal wall. All vessels should be removed on, or before, Monday 24th September 2018.
Waterways Ireland regrets any inconvenience this may cause and thanks its customers for their cooperation.

Schließung des Killaloe-Kanals für wesentliche Instandhaltungsarbeiten.

Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Schiffseigner davon in Kenntnis setzen, dass der 450 m lange Teil des Killaloe-Kanals zwischen der Killaloe-Straßenbrücke und der stromaufwärts gelegenen Kontrolltorstruktur vom 24. September bis zum 5. November 2018 geschlossen wird, um eine Absenkung des Wasserspiegels im Kanal zu ermöglichen und so wesentliche Wartungsarbeiten an der angrenzenden Kanalwand zu erleichtern.
Alle Schiffe sollten am oder vor Montag, dem 24. September 2018, abgeholt werden.

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise all Masters and owners of vessels that the Department for Infra-structure Rivers has advised that diving operations will take place at Portora Lock, River Erne, Enniskillen on Friday 7th September.
Waterways Ireland wishes to thank their customers for their cooperation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte alle Kapitäne und Schiffseigentümer davon in Kenntnis setzen, dass das Department for Infrastructure Rivers mitgeteilt hat, dass der Tauchbetrieb am Freitag, den 07. September, in der Portora Schleuse, dem Erne, Enniskillen, stattfinden wird.

GRAND CANAL

Closure of Grand Canal at Leister Aqueduct Sallins
From 17 September 2018 for six Weeks

Waterways Ireland wish to advise Master of Vessels and water users that the Grand Canal at Leinster Aqueduct, Sallins will be closed to navigation for a period of approximately 6 weeks from 17th September 2018 in order to repair and re-align a section of the Grand Canal to allow re-opening of the adjacent road.
Waterways Ireland apologises to its customers for any inconvenience caused.

ab 17. September 2018 für sechs Wochen.
Waterways Ireland möchte den Kapitänen von Schiffen und Wassernutzern mitteilen, dass der Grand Canal im Leinster Aquädukt, Sallins, für einen Zeitraum von etwa 6 Wochen ab dem 17. September 2018 für die Schifffahrt geschlossen sein wird, um einen Teil des Canal Grande zu reparieren und neu auszurichten, damit die angrenzende Straße wieder geöffnet werden kann.

Headrace and Tailrace restrictions

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners that:
For safety reasons only powered craft with a capacity in excess of 5 knots are allowed to enter Ardnacrusha Headrace and Tailrace Canals.
ESB will erect signs at the entrance to the headrace and tailrace bearing contents of this notice.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their cooperation in relation to this matter.

Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Vermieter darauf hinweisen, dass:

  • Aus Sicherheitsgründen dürfen nur Motorboote mit einer Kapazität von mehr als 5 Knoten in die Ardnacrusha Headrace und Tailrace Canals einfahren.
  • Die ESB wird am Eingang des Oberlaufs und des Unterlaufs Schilder aufstellen, die den Inhalt dieser Mitteilung aufzeigen.
