Slipanlage Bellanaleck, bis auf Weiteres geschlossen Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen auf dem Erne System darauf hinweisen, dass die Slipanlage am Public Anleger Bellanaleck bis auf weiteres geschlossen ist. Sobald die Slipanlage wieder geöffnet ist, wird eine weitere Bekanntmachung herausgegeben. Waterways Ireland dankt allen Wasserstraßenbenutzern für ihr Verständnis in dieser Angelegenheit.
Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters and owners of vessels that Carrybridge Jetty & Slipway will be closed for 1 week from August 23rd to 27th, for the realignment of jetty fingers. The electrical supply to bollards and pump out will be turned off during this period.

Vorübergehende Schließung, Carrybridge Jetty & Slipway Waterways Ireland möchte Kapitäne und Schiffsbesitzer darauf hinweisen, dass Carrybridge Jetty & Slipway vom 23. bis 27. August für eine Woche wegen der Neuausrichtung der Stegfinger geschlossen wird. Die Strom-versorgung der Poller und des Pumpwerks wird während dieser Zeit abgeschaltet. Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels and users of the Shannon Navigation and River Suck that Pollboy lock gates are on restricted operation until Saturday 24 July 2021.
Vessels with a beam in excess of 12 feet will not be able to through the lock until AM Saturday 24 July 2021.
Waterways Ireland thanks its customers for their co-operation in relation to this matter.

Juli 2021 Waterways Ireland möchte die Kapitäne von Schiffen und Benutzer der Shannon Navigation und des River Suck darauf hinweisen, dass die Pollboy-Schleusentore bis Samstag, den 24. Juli 2021, nur eingeschränkt in Betrieb sind. Schiffe mit einer Breite von mehr als 12 Fuß können bis Samstag, den 24. Juli 2021 vormittags nicht durch die Schleuse fahren. Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihre Kooperation in dieser Angelegenheit.
Closure for emergency repair works Until Tuesday 15th June 2021
Waterways Ireland wishes to notify Master of Vessels on the Royal Canal that Begnagh Bridge will be out of operation until Tuesday 15th June 2021 in order to facilitate ongoing emergency repair works.

Royal Canal, Begnagh-Brücke Sperrung für Notreparaturarbeiten, bis Dienstag, 15. Juni 2021 Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer auf dem Royal Canal darüber informieren, dass die Begnagh-Brücke bis Dienstag, den 15. Juni 2021, wegen dringender Reparaturarbeiten außer Betrieb sein wird. Waterways Ireland entschuldigt sich für die Unannehmlichkeiten, die den Nutzern entstehen.
The Shannon-Erne Waterway (SEW) is a real jewel among the Irish waterways. On this waterway you will experience unique and beautiful nature, partly consisting of canals, lakes and rivers. The edge of the shore is partly covered with lush green fields, sometimes glowing at you. There are fewer boats on the Shannon-Erne waterway than on the Shannon southbound. This waterway is ideal for anglers and birdwatchers.
After extensive renovation work, the waterway was reopened in 1994. Along the way you will find remnants of times long past. Among other things, you can see the remains of the destroyed bridge between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. A short time later, a modern bridge spans the canal again. However, you will not be completely without civilisation, as there is the opportunity to visit a picturesque village on the way and to stop off at one of the typical Irish gastro-pubs. In total, the Shannon-Erne Waterway is 63km long and has 16 locks between Leitrim and Upper Lough Erne. You can stop along the way at one of the seven public landing stages and experience authentic Ireland from Carrick-on-Shannon towards Upper Lough Erne.

Der Shannon-Erne Waterway (SEW) ist ein wahres Juwel unter den irischen Wasserstraßen. Auf diesem Wasserweg erleben Sie eine einzigartige und schöne Natur, die teilweise aus Kanälen, Seen und Flüssen besteht. Der Rand des Ufer ist teilweise mit saftig grünen Feldern bedeckt, die einem manchmal leuchtend zugewandt sind. Auf dem Shannon-Erne-Wasserweg sind weniger Boote unterwegs als auf auf dem Shannon in Richtung Süden. Dieser Wasserweg ist ideal für Angler und Vogelbeobachter. Nach umfangreichen Renovierungsarbeiten wurde der Wasserweg 1994 wiedereröffnet. Auf Weg finden Sie immer wieder Überbleibsel aus längst vergangenen Zeiten. Unter anderem sind die Überreste der zerstörten Brücke zwischen der Republik Irland und Nordirland zu sehen. Kurze Zeit später überspannt eine moderne Brücke wieder den Kanal. Allerdings werden Sie nicht ganz ohne Zivilisation sein, denn unterwegs gibt es die Möglichkeit, ein malerisches Dorf zu besuchen und in einem der typisch irischen Gastro-Pubs einzukehren. Insgesamt ist der Shannon-Erne-Waterway 63 km lang und hat 16 Schleusen zwischen Leitrim und Upper Lough Erne. Sie können Unterwegs an einer der sieben öffentlichen Anlegestellen anhalten und das authentische Irland von Carrick-on-Shannon aus richtung Upper-Lough Erne erleben.
