Erne Pike Classic

Friday 7th to Sunday 9th October 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels and waterways users on the Erne System that the Erne Pike Classic will take place from Friday 7th to Sunday 9th October 2022.
Friday 7th Oct involves a shore based angling competition while Sat 8th and Sun 9th October involves approx. 90 boats operating between Devenish Island and Carrybridge. The Waterways Ireland jetties at Round O, Castle and Henry Street be closed for mooring prior to and during the competition.

Erne Pike Classic, Freitag, 7. bis Sonntag, 9. Oktober 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte Schiffskapitäne und Wasserstraßenbenutzer auf dem Erne System darauf hinweisen, dass der Erne Pike Classic von Freitag, den 7. bis Sonntag, den 9. Oktober 2022 stattfinden wird.
Am Freitag, den 7. Oktober findet ein Angelwettbewerb vom Ufer aus statt, während am Samstag, den 8. und Sonntag, den 9. Oktober ca. 90 Boote zwischen Devenish Island und Carrybridge verkehren. Die Anlegestellen von Waterways Ireland in der Round O, Castle und Henry Street werden vor und während des Wettbewerbs zum Anlegen geschlossen.
Waterways Ireland dankt seinen Kunden für ihr Verständnis in dieser Angelegenheit.

Lock N1 – Temporary closure
from Monday 03 October 2022 for 3 weeks (Mon – Fri only)

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise Masters of Vessels on the Grand Canal, Naas Branch that the navigation will be closed through Lock N1 for 3 weeks from Monday 3rd October (Mon – Fri only). This is to facilitate repair works to the adjacent Osberstown Bridge parapet.

Waterways Ireland thanks Master of Vessels for their understanding in relation to this matter.

Grand Canal, Naas Branch, Lock N1 – Vorübergehende Schließung ab Montag, den 03. Oktober 2022 für 3 Wochen (nur Mo – Fr)
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer auf dem Grand Canal, Naas Branch, darauf hinweisen, dass die Schifffahrt durch die Schleuse N1 ab Montag, dem 3. Oktober, für drei Wochen (nur Mo – Fr) geschlossen wird. Dies geschieht, um Reparaturarbeiten an der angrenzenden Osberstown Bridge zu ermöglichen.
Waterways Ireland dankt Master of Vessels für ihr Verständnis in dieser Angelegenheit.

Railway Bridge repairs

Air draft restriction, 03 October to 01 November 2022

Waterways Ireland wishes to inform Masters of Vessels and users of the Grand Canal that maintenance works are being carried out to the railway bridge over the Grand Canal at Sallins, Co. Kildare.
Scaffolding will be attached to the bridge and will result in an air draft restriction of 2.5 metres for boats passing under the bridge. This air draft restriction will be in place from October 3rd 2022 to November 4th 2022. The towpath will operate as normal with no restrictions.

Grand Canal, Sallins, Reparaturen an der Eisenbahnbrücke
Air draft Beschränkung, 03. Oktober bis 01. November 2022
Waterways Ireland möchte die Schiffsführer und Benutzer des Grand Canal darüber informieren, dass an der Eisenbahnbrücke über den Grand Canal in Sallins, Co. Kildare Arbeiten durchgeführt werden.
An der Brücke wird ein Gerüst angebracht, das für Boote, die unter der Brücke durchfahren, eine Tiefgangsbeschränkung von 2,5 Metern zur Folge hat. Diese Tiefgangsbeschränkung wird vom 3. Oktober 2022 bis zum 4. November 2022 in Kraft sein. Der Treidelpfad wird wie gewohnt ohne Einschränkungen befahrbar sein.
