Sarsfield Lock

Waterways Ireland wishes to advise masters of vessels that, due to a mechanical failure affecting one lock gate, passage through Sarsfield Lock, Limerick, is currently restricted to vessels capable of passing through a single gate opening.
As the lock chamber is 12M wide, vessels up to approximately 5M in beam should be able to transit without restriction.

Waterways Ireland weist die Schiffsführer darauf hin, dass die Durchfahrt durch das Sarsfield Lock in Limerick aufgrund eines technischen Defekts an einem Schleusentor derzeit auf Schiffe beschränkt ist, die durch eine einzelne Toröffnung passen.
Da die Schleusenkammer 12 m breit ist, sollten Schiffe mit einer Breite von bis zu ca. 5 m die Schleuse ohne Einschränkungen passieren können.
